Logo_gwGrüne Wirtschaft (Austria)

Grüne Wirtschaft (GW©) is the organisation of green entrepreneurs and freelancers in Austria. It represents the interests of freelancers as well as small businesses. Also, GW© is active in the green fraction of The Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. The organisation campaigns for a sustainable way of economic activity following the core values of ecology, fairness, self-determination, non-violence, feminism and diversity. GW´s © work is guided by the principles of the Austrian Green Party. It affiliates itself with the green movement, it is, however, not a member of the green party but a legally distinct, friendly organisation. GW© welcomes and is open to businesses and freelancers also outside the traditional array of political parties.

By means of public relations, GW© actively contributes to the economic-political discussion in Austria, presents concrete and realistic economic-political proposals and thus influences the shaping of the Austrian economic framework conditions. GW© offers its members various networking possibilities, e.g. exchange of opinions and business opportunities, further education and the chance to actively contribute to the organisation´s political work.
