Last Monday UnternehmensGrün e.V. organized a “Climate Lunch” in Berlin. Sustainable entrepreneurs from the German capital had the opportunity to taste fine food like lambs lettuce on beetroot with toasted walnuts and cheese from sustainable cultivation. The dish’s recipe came from the “Genuss-Kochbüchle”. This climate-friendly cookbook was developed by a group of pupils as part of the education for sustainable development project “Umweltprofis von morgen.”
The whole event took place in the framework of the first “Ecopreneurs for the climate” week. During the week that takes place prior to the climate negotiations in Paris (COP21), Ecopreneur.eu’s members organize different events in their respective countries.
In Spain, the partners of greenbiz started off with creative sessions for public and private stakeholders on issues of green economic activities (including housing & recycling, energy & mobility). Further workshops will be held later this week. On 28/211/2015 De Groene Zaak (Netherlands) will present a report on how companies often have great climate ambitions but are slowed down by their governments.
